It started in Alexandria, in the year 2000. One young developer. One desktop ERP. No team, no funding — just a laptop and the belief that software for Middle Eastern businesses could be built locally.
A brief detour to Moscow to learn new technologies. Then Cairo in 2003 as the work scaled.
In 2005, Kuwait. Met Waleed AlHadlaq while rescuing the lost data of Kazma AC and Cooling Center. A 21-year partnership began. Products followed: AC Maintenance (2006), Schools (2007), Accounting (2008).
By 2015 we hit a wall. The choice: rebuild, or quit. We chose to rebuild — standardized DB layer, parameterized everywhere, a fixer system, real deployment.
And then luck broke our way. In 2018 we made a strategic bet: rewrite the products from desktop to full web applications. The work landed months before COVID-19. When the world locked down, every customer needed remote-first software. Ours was already there.
From 2019 onward — A1Schools v2, AC, WhatsAPI Pro, TradeVision, SSL Manager, ERP, POS, HR, Hospital, TimeSheet — twelve products, 500+ clients, 20+ countries. Not perfection — persistence and a little luck.
